The thing is that early in the day phase nobody was suspecting Satan, Blue, or I of being mafia so why would we need to get the heat off of ourselves if we weren't suspected (at least publicly) to be mafia early on day 1. Also I lynched Nara as soon as Day 1 began and barely anyone was talking and analyzing so who would've the attention be off from? I'm inclined to say that people only started to pay close attention to Nara and who were on her lynches when Satan said that she suspected Nara. Again if that theory were true then we flopped because we only gained spotlight on ourselves instead of the spotlight being on someone else. Going by this logic as well (that we were or one of us or two of us were trying to get the distraction off of ourselves) Satan certainly couldn't be mafia because she drew more attention to herself by being aggressive from the gecko. Is that something a mafia would do? Most mafias tend to be low key and skirt by. I don't know if explained this well but personally i dont feel like the first theory is plausible in this scenario.

it just happens they're both quite suspicious to me and acting in a similar way

In most case scenario at least one of the mafs has been someone that's consistently present in the thread (usually the one with the most experience) and actively gaining attention. I mean they'd want to gain the trust of town more than anything, right?

imo it's really risky to be pushy as a mafia, I think it will always backfire at some point
the "can't balance being on thread and mafia PM" really doesn't hold in this type of game either, you got a whole day so that's plenty of time to discuss on both

well obviously there are exceptions to every rule, so I'll never 100% discard the possibility of the aggressive people being mafia, but like I said people who usually ping me most as typical mafia play as the ones who are always present but never presenting relevant stuff, just posting enough so they won't be considered quiet, but not posting too much as they will be target of attention
