Momoiro Clover Z ("Momoclo") will be singing the theme song for the upcoming ytv Thursday night drama "Cheat - beware of scammers" (premiere on the third of October). The song, "Stay Gold", is described as an uptempo rock song.
Cheat centers around Hoshino Saki (Honda Tsubasa). Saki leads a group of swindlers who are assembled by the police to target other swindlers. Saki, meanwhile, is secretly a member of an unknown idol group.
For Momoclo this will be a rare foray into dramas, as their previous small and big screen soundtracks have mostly been for anime such as Dragon Ball, Pokémon, Crayon Shin-Chan and Bodacious Space Pirates.
