They continue all the way around the rim, that was a quiet day, on the busier ones, you could see them fly in a line back and forth over the fence.

yesterday a bee got in our house, my sister was freaking out and didn't want to even go in the room so I tried to help
grabbed a broom and successfully made the bee hop on, held the broom outside the window, shook it so she would fly away
