And technically, yes, even on the first chapter there was a body found and it is sort of meant to set up the story for the rest of the book. I am not sure where it is all heading for, but I hope that I am not a complete flop.

I think that I am just nervous because I want it to be better than the first novel I have written and I feel like my writing is a little bit meh at the moment? XD
Probably too self-judgy atm.

Just take your time. And try not to compare your current novel to your previous one, that won't do you any good.
