I'm not at all a ballad fan and it's almost always my one 'meh' reaction on DC albums, but this one had just enough instrumentals to keep me interested.
I still wish they wouldn't do them tho and give another kick-ass experimental track, but it is what it is.

i just wish they kicked the acoustic guitar, and replaced with a more interesting instrument. those few moments where the acoustic guitar took the lead i started zoning out
but the rest of it so good i'd give it another listen
also same, i'd rather have had another experimental track

I mean I get it, i'm just not a ballad fan, i'm sure plenty people are tho. It's just DC have some super awesome and sometimes totally unexpected b-sides, that on a mini with only a handful of tracks, those ballads take up a precious spot that could be put to wayyyyy better use. You don't even see the fandom enjoying them, the typical reaction is just "it's the ballad" then they go back to talking about the other tracks. It'll always be my one single issue with the queens comebacks.

Even tho most pf the songs i listen to everyday are ballads, the ones used as bsides tend to be boring and i zone out about 30 seconds in
