I had one game where a neighbouring nation broke in to two after a revolution. The "rebels" lost, but refused to ever fuck off. So even up to the modern ages, I had a bunch of dudes with spears on horseback, riding out of nowhere and attacking my modern city... Every fucking day, they turn up on horses with sticks, just to get machine gunned by one modern unit. Issue is Humankind's combat system is one of it's weakest points, so every fucking time this happened, I had to manually go and resolve it. No idea where they were coming from, their nation had been defeated, and the map had no location shown for them. Apparently those forests contained unlimited manpower though. Fun times, love that.

I looked everywhere, the entire world, checked everybody's trade options, not a spec of oil. So everybody reached more modern periods, and slammed to a halt, nobody could make anything. After a google it's a known bug, the resources are randomized, but for some reason oils minimum is set for 0, even though it's a hard requirement for later units.

oof... that's something that would make me stop playing the game for awhile if it were to happen to me. :ughh: you have my sympathy.

so far my complaints are significantly less serious than yours, but again, i haven't played a lot to begin with. xD i think the narrator is really unpleasant. something will happen and he'll make a remark like he thinks he's so witty and funny and i'm like, "man just shut the f*ck up"! i also think the diplomacy window is sometimes confusing. i really hate when i'm travelling and i click on a space and they're like "oh yeah that'll take you 3 more turns and your unit is going here and there and" sdjfkgdh and they start to automatically move the unit before i can say "no f*ck go back"! i'm sorry! i didn't know that tile was apparently inaccessible unless i navigated to it in a very specific way!

The whole map was visible. All territory around me was owned by 3 nations, and I was allied with them all. I even tried placing a tank in a neighbours territory, see if I could cut them off, didn't help. Whenever I panned the camera away from that corner, the game just decided some horseback crazies would spawn and run rampage.

I saw somebody on reddit complaining about the narrator the other night. Many agreed he just seems out of place. First time he's MAYBE charming, by turn 100? yeah go away now. I don't tend to have the audio on for strategy games however, music or podcasts blasting typically.

Up a mountain, across this river, and we don't have access to this country, so we'll have to go around. A UI element/key binding that shows you the path BEFORE you click, would be a nice quality of life improvement.
