right, but that's what i meant. i'm not so sure SM would've added some random trainees who are not ready to 127 so if johnny and doyoung weren't there then i think icy possibly would've gotten her wish and they woulda stayed as 7 until jungwoo, but doyoung's lines in all their comebacks they've done most likely would've went to taeil

i had to take a break

as someone who just said that dream's line distribution has been better without mark the other day, in that sense i totally get where icy is coming from. but the line distribution would be even more messed up in taeil's benefit, let's be real

and i never wished mark out of dream, that's harsh. also mark is actually my #3 above jeno whose lack of lines i was crying over, i love love love mark. so i kinda think there's something else about doyoung that she probably doesn't click with, or at least i hope there is because otherwise it's kinda really yikes to dislike a member based on what they have no control over

btw, if you happen to read this icy, that's not an invitation to list things about doyoung that make you dislike him. i don't click with lucas but that doesn't mean i dislike him, our personalities just don't mesh from what i've seen. not his fault, i'm too timid so his personality comes off really strong to me. maybe if i got to know wayv better i would even change my mind as i got to see more of his qualities. i can recognize what a huge stan attractor he is, though, and why people love him.

it's just that... maybe it's because of their unit system or maybe it's because of something else but nctzens as a whole have so much akgaeism going on (not calling anyone an akgae specifically but i don't know what other word to use, i mean hating on members that are not your biases). just now getting into ateez and it's clear how much less of that i'm seeing it in this fandom. army were pretty huge even back when i was into bts and as many problems i had with armies bashing other groups at the time, their unity when it came to supporting all the members was a sight to behold. at least when it came to international fans.

nctzens can't relate, and i'm not only talking about icy. we as a fandom suffer from this problem probably more than any other, so sorry icy if we're a bit on edge when it comes to stuff like this

I dont understand where this notion that i am bothered by the line distribution is coming from. I didnt say any of the things i said because i secretly feel like all the other members should go só yuta would get lines. Idk if that is how people are interpreting it. I dont even really believe in equality of lines in a group.i rarely conplain about yutas lack of lines or about how markyong get a lot of them.

I think i am allowed to criticise additions to the group if i am not a fan of such additions, which in itself doesnt mean i have an issue with the idol, whom i might like or dislike, but Said addition will affect the sound and feel of a group and the group night suffer and in my opinion i would have liked the original 7 to have more time as themselves.

Its also personal bias to like 127 the way that it is now instead of some other group, how do u expect a persons bias not to be taken into account

With that Said when winwin left 127 i didnt stop supporting the group even though he was my favorite second member because Im not an akgae and ill support them no matter what.

that's not criticizing SM or additions to the group, that's disliking members. you cannot in good conscience thought that'd go over well with stans? imagine going into bts thread and saying you dislike jhope, there'd be a bloodbath. we're really trying to understand you here but you're not making it easy

Also, kpop is not just about music, kpop is a business at the end of the day. When the company decided to add a certain member to the group, they must have had a good reason. Maybe that member is not skilled in dancing or singing but they bring something to the group, be it variety skills, or slightly better group dynamics.
We are free to dislike it, but that won't change a thing. We should rather focus on the good stuff.
