Thank you sjdks this is so sweet yeah there aren't so many here so I'll probably go back if everyone's back thereYeah! I know that account already it has been updating US sales for every artist since a looong time and it's an account you can trust, but well since the first certification is Gold (500k) I don't think we,'re getting it anytime soon hahah but I'm more curious about where Bad Boy since it's it's no doubt their most successful WW and I find it interesting RF is already at 100k! I'll add it in the thread as SPS; and hopefully we're getting more infos on their others singles soon~
And apparently they'll be releasing soon another article with sales for each albums so I'm guessing we have some data missing like The Velvet or The Red not charting every month! But the numbers are not too different so it's a good thing

Nugu► Whole OP has been fully updated and changed!!!! Finally it is now to date and many things have been added!
• Mainly the chart section, now you can check the chart run of their singles up to this day (Red Flavor is soon coming for 100 weeks charting!) and also added every Billboard charts! (well the JP100, SK100, Canada top 100 & world songs/albums, but maybe I'll add Heatseekers too?).
• Spotify pic is clearer now~
• Have separeted solos downloads & streams of course. And added a VLive part for their streamings numbers (also they just surpassed 1,9M followers)
• The whole main pic and resumed pic of their records is changed now too!!
• I'm updating the achievements part that should be with the awards and posted soon...!

I found it from when Gaon posted top 200/400.. A link of some excel file was also posted here.. but unluckily OH is down right now.. I'll see if I can still find the old top 400 excel links..
I finally found out exactly how many albums RV sold during June and July.. since the exact numbers were not posted, I tried asking others in twt accs and finally found out..
Also, about that Gaon update on RV sales (which was posted on 27th Aug), the sales data is up to 33rd Week of 2019 which would be up to 17th Aug 2019 that is 3 days before the release of ReVe Festival: Day 2..
As per that release, RV sold 1,180,758.. And from the sales data we have collected up to July, RV sold 1,164,487 albums (without counting Kihno since Gaon doesn't include Kihno into physical album sales).. so there is a 16,271 difference in sales.. and I'm pretty sure the long lost sales data of The Red and The Velvet are included in it along with some part of ICC and RR..
Gaon should have just released sales data up to July instead of 3rd week of Aug which is very annoying to calculate..

Yeah.. That's what I've been thinking since Jeff didn't mention anything about RF's sales.. If RF actually sold 100k, then it must have been SPS, otherwise the data isn't adding up.. So, according to him BB already sold 26k pure then it must have been 100k+ SPS like you said.. but at least he should have mentioned about RF too.. We fans are dying to know.. lol..
Also, how does RIAA criteria work?? do they count only pure or SPS?? Because I think BP has already received Gold certifications with DDDD and 500k in US is a lot..
For us to calculate about SPS, we have to have some kind of raw data, but Jeff or anyone in Billboard didn't bother publishing it for the fans..
I guess this is all the data we have for now..

NuguYep, his numbers are pure but chartdata is always SPS sales!
I mean, anyone can do SPS sales once you know how to do (proof because onces and blinks did it already) so I'm just curious as how to count it so we could try it for RV. I read about how to do it with CSPC so I'm searching about that...
RIAA is always SPS! It counts pure song sales + on-demande streams - Also, videos that contain at least 35 seconds of an song on Youtube are being counted as sales and videos with the full length of a song + 35 seconds of the same song (like katy's swish swish for exemple) are being counted twice.
But the numbers we got for their singles in the US are all pure (except for Red Flavor obviously, since chartdata updated it), but for their albums I'm not so sure. I guess their albums are SPS numbers and not just pure..

LurkerYes RF numbers are SPS since it was published by chartdata.. The numbers published by Jeff are all pure except when he specifically mentioned the term equivalent units like in this article for RBB.. So, the ones he updated in the newest article are also pure since he didn't mentioned anything about equivalent thingy..
For how to calculate SPS, you can read from here.. It's written somewhere around the middle.. Search the keyword SEA or TEA or SPS.. They even wrote about how RIAA certifications work.. The problem is how to get the valid data for calculations..
After looking into both the links you sent me, both of their SPS calculations are way too high.. while for Twice, the OP keep adding the download number for singles in SK and JP regions.. like how does he/she even calculate the gaon streamings and convert into downloads because for some songs, the data are non-existent.. on the other hand, for BP, they added downloads from QQ music too which is a whole 1M+ boost.. lol
In short, both of them assumed some data way too high and added additional data from everywhere they can get.. it's like the more the merrier situation..

How come on Gaon TRF Day 1 now has 157,075 copies sold when in June it was at 182,210..what happened to the other 25,135 copies?!?!

LurkerBoth online and offline stores pre-ordered albums from distributors in the month June (before the comeback) and 182,210 albums were shipped from the distributors to various stores. These albums were just pre-ordered by stores, before selling them to fans..
Out of 182,210 albums there were some unsold ones, so they were returned to the distributors.. Some albums were definitely sold in July but the returns were more, so after adjusting both the numbers, Day 1 didn't chart in Gaon July album chart because the number has gone -26,303..
And again, in the month August, 1,168 albums were sold so they were adjusted to 157,075..
