That's the point, they're supposed to look ID pictures. The post even points out that sm's profile photo goods aren't actually like ID photos.
NCT actually released some profile photo goods recently that look like the jyp ones in the post.
Ok I would rather photoshoots rather than ID pics as profile pics then?? Aren't these the pics on officials sites etc, why would I want to see robotic pictures than pics with a concept n shit

If anyone bothers to check Twice's profile page on JYPE's website, you'll see that the profile pics for Twice are based on their current comeback media, which right now is Fancy. If it's not a screenshot of a website, then it's fan goods. Really not worth getting worked up over this topic.

lol i'm even more confuse since usually people understand. it's just like a package of school stationary set? it's supposed to be formal with id card size pics, SM just a bit different. both are nice
