i had a whole culture shock when i was talking to my friend and she said that she was weirded out when she was in japan bc while they were eating fish, the head was still there. she says that back home, they would never ever eat the head and would usually remove it
like i was genuinely shocked?? when we eat fish for dinner, we usually eat the WHOLE thing, from the head down to the very tail. i had no idea that this was an asian thing. heck, i've even had fish intestines before and it actually really good but no one told me it was fish intestines until i ate most of it. it's like how i only recently found out that foreigners thought chicken feet was weird and then james corden made eating pig blood curd and century egg a punishment on his show but it's both actually some of my favourite food. leave our food alone

my email notifications that I get on the Apple stock mail app on my phone is always a few minutes delayed compared to the gmail app on my iPad... and email notifications are so important to me.
