Really? Swimming Pool is very different to Birthday imo. Swimming Pool reminds me of a punk rock vibe/teen show opening theme.

I'm talking about he vibe not the music. It's the way they are singing...the vibe of a happy b-side.

It has more of this imo specially in the chorus

Unfortunately, I couldn't really enjoy this. It started off okay and I was wondering where it would go with it, but... eh. I'll try out their B-sides later, though.

I think Birthday, Swimming Pool and Cushion have similar choruses in the sense that they're pretty bright and generic. They could be choruses of songs in Disney movies, for example.

A distinctively Kpop chorus, for me, would be something like the ones in Rookie or WJSN's Secret.
