I'm not a Monbebe. When I first saw the news I thought it made sense for Wonho to leave, IMO. It's a big scandal; at the time translation sites had that he possibly brought a weapon to a robbery (false), he went to juvy (false) etc. So hearing all this I was like "duh, of course he'd leave." But then there was the question of why they'd add him at all if this was true?
I don't know this man, but i do know what he can do on stage, the presence he brings, his huge fanbase; he is very well loved and it's clear that the opinion of the public doesn't matter to Monsta X, nor the fans. Their songs chart low but their albums and ticket sales are high. The public will move on to the next scandal, but what about the fandom? They are all clearly mad. Just add his ass back. Starship needs to end this shit.

The thing is, Monsta X was never that 'big' with the Korean GP anyways. They made most of their money from touring, so Starship could've ignored the scandal and just kept on going and I doubt their revenue would've dropped that much even if their reputation in Korea did. I guess it depends on what Starship prioritizes. Monbebes who stand by OT7 and are willing to spend money on only OT7 things will be the ones who will ultimately hurt MX's career if Starship continues to ignore the high demand to bring Wonho back.

I think Starship and Wonho were a little too haste in their decision to make MX OT6.

Yes, I think he should come back 100%!
No idol should have their career destroyed based on malicious rumours. This whole cancel culture and people starting witchunts need to stop. The way everything went down just doesn't sit right with me.

The accusations made against him had no proof, they were just screenshots of text messages. Literally all that shows is that they spoke to his lawyer, not that he actually did anything they claimed. Like his lawyer would have spoken to them regardless of whether it is true or not because as we've found out the rumours would impact his career regardless of the truth. As for the juvenile record, he actually didn't spend time in a juvenile detention center. There was a group and the leader was the one who spent time in the detention center, whilst Wonho was given probation. Personally, I don't care all that much about that because it was all in the past and as an idol he's stayed in line so he should be given a second chance. In my opinion he's shown that he's grown as a person because he actually did something with his life by following his dreams of becoming an idol. As far as the whole weed thing goes, once again there's no solid evidence. The only evidence is the testimonies of JDE and that other guy. I won't deny it could have happened and I honestly wouldn't be shocked if it is true. Yet it just seems wrong for him to be punished for something he did 6 years ago only because the other person who smoked with him became vindictive.

No matter how anyone looks at this situation, there's no denying that all of this was a carefully planned out and targeted attack against Monsta X. Firstly that twitter account started the whole 'me too' mess and then deleted the accout and post. The damage was done and people got a negative view of Wonho. Then they came out with the money accusations, then they accused Shownu of being a homewrecker, then they came out with the juvenile record, then the weed accusations, then Shownu's photos. Like for that long chain of events to happen all so close together just before/during what would have been MX's biggest and likely most successful comeback, shows that this is clearly a malicious attack.

If you've actually read all of that congrats for making it to the end of my rant lol. I just feel very strongly about the situation so I get emotional talking about it.

EDIT: I would just like to add that as a Monbebe if it really is his decision to leave the group for the sake of his mental health and happiness then I will just accept his decision, but it seems very likely he felt pressured to leave the group as not to hurt the other members due to his rumours. It feels like Starship threw him under the bus and he was basically forced out which is why there is an issue.
