damn aki. messRound is over.
And the choices were...
Should Hercule Poirot…
a. Go ask the butler to check the area near the pond for anything amiss?
b. Go out in the snow himself and search for clues?
c. Investigate Isabella’s body?
d. Go into Isabella’s Room and search for clues?
Did you pick wisely? Let's see.
a. The Butler cites that the blizzard is too strong and refuses to go.
b. The Blizzard is too strong and due to the poor visibility, Poirot ends up lost in the snow. Stumbling around the estate he unintentionally walks over the frozen pond and slips. He hits the ice with a thud and the ice breaks under him. He can’t get out of the icy cold water and drowns as nobody is able to come to his aid due to the howling blizzard.
c. Hint - will be sent to you via pm.
d. The room is locked so he can’t go into the room to search for clues.
This means Aqua, Joo, yerimmie, BlueNose, sm maid and OutroTearTheFirst who all chose B died. Thank you for playing.
You can now accuse a suspect if you wish to do so.
You have time until xx.49 (i.e. 3 minutes) to make an accusation.
Remember you may only accuse once in the entire game. And if you accuse someone who is innocent, you will die immediately.

Round 3
Lunch was being served late today. For understandable reasons of course. Hercule Poirot walked in dressed in black. A dear soul had departed it was only right to mourn her death. As everyone tucked into the Roast beef and potatoes , he looked around the table to see his guests. Mr. and Mrs. Hollow were not at the table. Neither was Mr. Edmund Hollow. Mrs. Cornwell was present though. She was dressed in a yellow dress and seemed to be rather tipsy as her dining etiquette seemed sloppy to say the least. Mr. Bassett and Mr. Mitchell seemed rather silent. It was especially unlike Mr. Bassett who had been devastatingly charming and cheerful yesterday. Mr. Mitchell had always kept to himself so it was harder to see if he was grieving or not. Ms. Daisy Basset held onto her brother’s hand as she whispered to him in a hushed tone.
Words of comfort, maybe?
Poirot had heard that Isabella and David had been quite close. The maids had told him that the two might be lovers. Of course he knew better now. The bassetts were a wealthy family. A union between Isabella and David would have been celebrated instead of being looked at with disdain.
“Could you pass the Buns, Mr. Poirot?”
He turned to face Elizabeth Williams.
“Of course Mademoiselle.”
“Are you from France?”
“No. Belgium.” He smiled.
She took the bun he offered and thanked him.
He observed the young lady for a moment and then quietly asked.
“It has been a day hasn’t it?”
She seemed surprised as she stopped eating. She then swallowed her food before answering, “Yes.”
“Mr. Hollow told me that you and the young lady were friends.”
She turned to face him and nodded. “She was my childhood friend. We knew everything about each other.”
“Is that so?”
“Yes.”
He nodded as he turned back to his meal.
Once he finished his lunch, he went to speak to Ms. Daisy.
“How are you feeling?” He asked.
She was standing next to the window looking out at the snow.
“Not too great. I never though Isabella would…” Her voice broke as she seemed overwhelmed by emotion. He reached out and held her shoulder.
“Were you close?”
She nodded. “Isabella was a dear. She was so bright and lovely. She was like a sister I never had.”
Poirot waited for her to continue and say something more but she didn’t.
He looked out of the window, at the dark garden and the snow which continued to fall.
“I wish I had been awake to go speak to young Miss. Hollow and change her mind.” He said softly.
She nodded, “so do i. But alas, I went to bed immediately after dinner. If I had known that the last time I would see her would be during dinner, I would have stayed up longer and gone to keep her company.”
Poirot smiled sorrowfully.
“Excuse me Mr. Poirot, I want to go see how Edmund is coping.”
“Absolutely.” He looked at the woman leave. He then turned to head to the parlour and was ambushed by another guest who was staying in the house. She seemed nervous.
“What is the matter?”
“I need to speak to you in private.”
They headed off to the parlour and shut the door. The woman sat down and then stared at the floor.
“I didn’t pay much thought to it last night but I think I have some information you need to know.”
He gestured for her to continue.
"I was on the balcony out for a smoke. It must have been half past 10 at the time. I couldn't sleep. I felt restless."
"And what did you see?" He prompted her to get to the point.
"Well it wasn't see as much as Hear."
She looked out of the window for a moment before looking at him.
"I heard Daisy.... and Isabella."
Poirot looked at her with surprise. Daisy Basset had told him she went to bed right after Dinner. Dinner ended at 8pm. So what was she doing awake and outside her room at half past 10? And that too, with Isabella.
"What were they talking about?"
"Well... they weren't talking... they were quarreling. I didn't hear exactly what it was about. But I remember Daisy saying Believe me and Isabella saying No."
Poirot's eyes widened in surprise.
"Mr. Poirot, Mr Mitchell wishes to speak to you," The butler interrupted them.
He frowned at the butler.
"Would it be possible to tell him that I will speak to him later?"
The butler shook his head.
"He seemed to be very disturbed. He said it is urgent and he must speak to you."
"Where is he?"
"He is in the Library, Sir."
He turned back to look at the guest and noticed that she seemed nervous.
Should Hercule Poirot…
A. Go to meet Mr. Mitchell?
B. Ask the butler where Mrs. Cornwell is?
C. Ask the guest if she knows anything more?
D. Ask the guest to not tell anyone else what she heard?
