If CD Japan can't charge your card or it's blocked for some reason, they will e-mail you to attempt to resolve the issue. Will the charge go through? Who knows. Could it be that when CD Japan tries to charge you that you end up being contacted by BigPay to authorize the charge? No idea.

Thanks to Frost's explanation I decided to read some BigPay reviews to see what it was about because I'd never heard of a hybrid service like that. I took a look at their FAQ and look what I found:

Why is my payment still pending?
Your payment is pending because the merchant hasn't settled the payment yet. This could take up to 10 working days but usually no more than 7 working days.

During the time a payment is pending, no money has left your account yet. We simply set the money aside from your balance so you've enough money to pay when the merchant collects the payment. When that happens, your payment will change from Pending to Settled.

If the merchant hasn't taken any action after 10 working days, we'll release the money back to your account.

I'm going to take a guess that's what happened. Since it's prepaid, your money can't be tied up forever.

my paypal is linked to my credit card, and it never asked for tac. i use paypal on a lot of international sites, because i don't have to expose or remember my credit card details.

Thanks for the confirmation and clarification. I imagine most prepaid cards have a time limit for a charge to go through like I mentioned to GVK above. While we have prepaid cards here in the U.S., most people tend to use them as gift cards. Like put $50 on a prepaid Visa and someone can go spend it wherever they want. Although there are a lot more people using prepaid cards in place of credit cards nowadays too, it's your only option if you have a bad credit rating.

The e-wallet craze hasn't hit the U.S. yet. I'd like to say you have a 50% chance of a place letting you pay that way, but I think it's probably more like 30% depending on where you are. I actually know of a restaurant that still only accepts cash.

It's good that you use Paypal like that, super convenient and I hope everyone else would use it that way too. I have my credit card info saved at handful of sites because I've been using them forever (like CD Japan), but others I'm the same as you. Especially if it's a one time purchase and I don't want to make an account on the site, I use Paypal tied to my credit card.

so a local fanbase admin posted in her personal sns sth like (not exact line but this is the idea) "another eu tour, wont their korean fans feel left behind (another way to phrase this : how will kr fans feel) , there are many rookie groups debuting nowadays?"

well
probably focusing too much on outside kr isnt good thing but on another hand who knows if their kr fanbase actually grows / stagnant already?

From an old soompi article about the formation of the group, happyface had this plan all along. They wanted DC to do a lot of concerts. They knew that the fanbase in korea wouldn't be too big and planned to attract foreign fans.
