I just watched the latest episode of the reality show and talk about doing a 180 on the tone of previous episodes.

I get that sometimes idols will share personal stories, but they tend to only let fans see the parts they want them to see, but Yoohyeon ended up sharing something really personal in this episode and all I can really hope is that she gave her consent for this to be aired.

did mmt purposely delay the vod release until the dvd preorder is closed? is that their strategy to reduce the chance that fans skipping the dvd because they watched the vod?

It's shitty, but once the decision was made to sell it again in another form... yeah, probably.

I was thinking this had to be the reason. At least I got to work on my patience with delaying gratification xD

That depends if the VODs and DVDs have the same content (which we don't know yet).

And let's be honest here, if you ordered both concerts in the first place you got the VOD for free. The concerts by themselves were $20 each and $25 for a single concert plus VOD. It was $40 for both concerts plus the VODs for both. And if you ordered early on, it was $30 for both concerts and both VODs (that's what I paid).

The only people this would affect are people who ordered the VOD before the DVD was released and missed the concerts entirely. I feel like the amount of people that did that would be in the minority.

I would like an explanation on why this was delayed for so long though...maybe I'll e-mail and ask.

I was thinking more along the lines of the behind-the-scenes practice room rehearsal VOD and/or the after party one that had only been available for VVIP previously so people can watch the additional content.
