so a group of friends (image concept 1) go holidaying at the carnival by the sea, and got attacked by evil doppelgangers (image concept 3) in mirror house.
How does the image concept 2 fit in the story? are they the representation of the rabbits?
so mv going to show the evil twins eat the rabbits?

the purple look is definitely throwing that idea off, I'm not sure. There's no third party in Us
Although, even if they followed the film plot exactly, it'd still be ridiculous I personally thought the film was trash

i didn't watch the movie, so not really sure what it's about, other than murderous doppelgangers who live underground and eat rabbits

Don't bother lol, 2 hours I wont get back... For anybody who doesn't care about spoilers it's: Everybody has a double who lives underground, that apparently nobody knows about (except like, the government I guess?). Female lead encounters her own double in an abandoned house of mirrors, and is kidnaped/swapped (das the twist) so she's an imposter. Underground folk, who apparently DO know they have doubles above ground (somehow), are sick of being the underground suckers and collectively rise up to kill the surface versions. If you even THINK about the film for a second, it falls apart, it's fucking dumb.

I had trouble turning the "how is this realistic?" part of my brain off. But, obviously it's not supposed to be literally interpreted. Even after seeing Get Out, i should have expected it to be a mirror to society film, not straight up horror.

It was an alright movie. not the best, not the worst. unfortunately i think they hype of it being "the greatest horror movie ever" made it kinda difficult to live up to.

It's supposed to be symbolic I'm sure yada yada. But Get Out made plenty social commentary, and still managed to be a pretty decent film. Us is just snooooooooze, couldn't get in to it, couldn't suspend my disbelief.
