Wasn't there rumours that Pledis staffs are the one managing fromis? I mean even their CEO was praised for fromis. As long as they keep managing the same way they managed fromis for the past 1 year, I guess we will still be okay.

I hope that we will not get the Pristin & AS treatment

If I can look at it as rationally as possible. The negative of moving to Pledis (if it ever happens) is that they don't have the resources that CJ/Stone does. Pledis has shown that they are risk adverse and won't continue to support groups (Pristin, After School) if they can't make money off them.

If there are any silver linings, it would be that Pledis has essentially been managing fromis (and Iz*One) all this time. They might not own the 2 groups but they are hired by CJ to manage/produce for them since debut. I would like to think that Pledis' CEO if he ever did buy the contracts would really believe in fromis' ability to progress and be financially viable moving forward.

I knew it was not true right away. OTR is basically a female department of Pledis (same building, same trainers, same CEO, same producers), only difference is that CJ is managing finances and PR.

I think it was a mediaplay. But I don't quite understand the reason.

I wouldn't be so fast to believe rumors from twitter. Specially that account that just translates every rumor they find from k-netz.

I think both OTR and Pledis have their flaws. The difference is Pledis has proven it can't manage girl groups at all and OTR is new so we have hope at least. We don't know how the relationship is between both companies too. I see a lot of people here making a lot of assumptions about how it works when we have had literally no info on it.

Personally I'm happy it has proven not true for now. Still a bit apprehensive though cause sometimes when there is smoke there is fire. I would not be happy with a move of company and I can see OTR wanting to focus IZone and not wanting to deal with the Idol School investigation considering the difference in profit from both groups.

I just wish for the investigation to be done as soon as possible so we can know what is the future like for the girls.

Hopefully the new year goes better for the girls. 2019 they had a good comeback that kept them trending up. If it weren't for some, imo bad choices by OTR, and the investigation...

Fuck Mnet and their corrupt asses though. Hopefully the girls won't pay for the company's transgressions.
