I like it. It's not one of my top favorites from GFriend but I still enjoy the song.

I love it!! I think it's fresh and fun to listen to. I've mostly seen people disliking it because they think it doesn't sound like GFriend or hate the instrumental chorus but I honestly think this is a one-time thing similar to Sunny Summer. It's a short promo and so they're doing something they usually don't (for Sunny Summer I guess the choreo was different from their usual). It's a fresh change and perfect for summer so I enjoy it a lot. Album-wise, Fever Season is up there in my top 3 GFriend minis I think.

like i said in the MV thread, i think this is not our typical GFriend song. it sounds like something a solo singer would release. whether that's a good or bad thing, i don't know. personally, for me, it's fine. if it shows up in my shuffle, i'll bop to it. I liked Sunny Summer better tho

Interesting preferences I like Fever more than Sunny Summer if we're comparing their recent summer songs. Sergel and I were known to be Sunny Summer haters (not really, but it's just a joke) back on OH so LOL. I think SS is a cute song but not the most ideal title track material imo which is why I think I prefer Fever. It feels more exciting whereas SS is more on the chill, laid back style.

i think its interesting that some of you like sunny summer over fever too, but sunny summer is my least favorite of gfriend's title tracks haha so i guess i find it interesting when i hear anyone saying they like it more than something else. but we all have our preferences haha so to each their own.
i really like fever. it's not their typical sound but i still get the gfriend vibe from it. it's refreshing and mature in a way that still keeps them true to their style imo. i think its a really good song for the summer. definitely not one of my favorite gfriend title tracks, but i do like it a lot.

Spoiler: I like the song, but I have some thoughts on it too that people might be ehh about

I've thought a lot about it, and I don't dislike the song, however, I have really high standards for GFriend. If any other group put out this song, I would be like, yeah that's a bop. But for me for GFriend it's not enough for a title. It has aspects of their color, sure, but when I think GFriend title, I want bombastic and symphonic and harmonious and dramatic. This is just a chill summer song. It'd be an awesome b-side.
The other thing: GFriend has always been great at doing their own thing instead of following the trend. They're not trendy, but they're unique. Having a trop. house title right now is the worst of both worlds. It's following a trend 2-3 years too late. It's not trendy or unique; it's outdated. And I think that that's going to be represented in public perception as well.

Other things I dislike: I like MV's with stories. This MV is just the girls looking pretty. Also the choreo.. I like the style but the choreo, regardless of who makes it, always feels like GFriend. This choreo, from the formations to the actual moves seems so generic. It could've been made for any group. As discussed on this board already, it probably would've been better for an odd-numbered group.

Things I like so I'm not just a salty bitch: The girls look so fucking hot. Also they sound so so awesome. LOVE the tension in Yuju's voice throughout. Also, the girls like this song. That's always a huge plus. I know they didn't like Sunrise (although I did, a lot), which is sort of a bummer, so I think they'll have fun promoting this song. ALSO I like it more than Sunny Summer, which was always going to be the case because Iggy is a superior producer to Duble Sidekick.
