Police are now investigating "Produce X 101" trainees. Trainees include those whose agencies were raided by police and trainees who were expected to debut but did not make it into the final line up.
In the midst of PD Ahn's and a CP Kim’s arrests, police are also reportedly investigating trainees who appeared on Mnet ‘Produce X 101.’
According to a Newsis report on the 12th, police are confirmed to be coordinating times to investigate the contestants of ‘Produce X 101.’

If the investigation takes place, then these trainees will serve as witnesses. Police believe that there are some trainees who benefited from the vote manipulation and other trainees who were disadvantaged due to it. Police are reportedly conducting a full-scale investigation into the matter.

In particular, trainees whose respective agencies were searched and trainees who were expected to debut but were eliminated from the final line up will be included in the investigation.

The police will likely ask the trainees if they heard anything about the scandal during the filming of the show or if they heard it being discussed in their own agencies before shooting began.

In addition, as opposed to allegations of companies simply raising the rank of trainees, the police will investigate a wide variety of possibilities, such as scenarios where agencies purposefully lower the ranks of their own trainees in fear that these trainees will not be able to promote within their own label.

The agencies of the debuted 11 members include Starship, OUI, TOP Media, MBK, DSP Media, Brand New Music, Yuehua, Woollim, and PLAN A.

Currently, police are investigating whether or not so-called “major agencies” offered entertainment and lobbied in order to get their trainees to debut.

Police have now booked a total of 10 people for their involvement in the vote manipulation for the Produce series.
This includes all 4 people given arrest warrant hearings. Senior CJ ENM officials and agency officials were booked too

Police are now conducting thorough investigations to find more evidence of bribery/favors from companies and their involvement with the controversy + involvement of company executives

The 10 booked (includes very powerful executives + all 4 previously booked PDs and Starship VP) will be sent to prosecution on the 14th
Police will now investigate all 4 seasons of 'Produce 101'.

From the police statement, to be honest I'm afraid that the case will be stretched out like Burning Sun. :sadpuppy:
It means it'll getting difficult for izone to re-start activities, while its cause and effect already have spread everywhere.
Btw I'm worried about Starship trainee because of their Vice President is likely too deeply involved. But the positive thing is that the police are focused on the suspects who manipulated votes. So I hope the media doesn't blame the members who aren't directly involved in the conspiracy to manipulate votes.

I guess the good news is none of the girls have to go in for questioning by the police.

They delayed the press conference by one day and that's all they have for us?

Good news is that they are still not revealing the original line up. Hopefully they realize how revealing the lineup will harm the members and decide not to.

More days of uncertainty and waiting for us and the members though..
