This news is about the 2nd season but it makes me curious about the severity of the manipulation.

I only watched Produce 48, so I don't know about the other seasons. Do you guys think that the manipulation involves both the screen time and votes? If it involves both, I am curious about the inconsistency of both cases.

For example, I guess many would agree Sakura was given a lot in terms of the screen time. But if it is the case the producers really wanted to push her, then why didn't she get the center?

Then there is also others who were given little to none screen time such as Chaewon. But in the end, she still makes the final lineup.

Isn't it easier and less obvious if the producers push the screen time of all the contestants that they want to debut and rigged the vote at the same time? For example, many fans believe that Gaeun was removed from the final lineup. But would it have been easier if the producers give her little screen time and didn't place her in the top 12 from the beginning of the episodes?

I don't want to talk about who deserve and do not deserve to be in the lineup. I am just curious about the severity of the manipulation. Depending on the severity, we might be able to predict about the future of IZ*ONE too.

I looked up those trainees. They said they were ok with not joining wanna one. They also said they just when on the show to promote themselves. They clearly didn't care when they were on the show but they care now. I wouldn't listen much to them. But on Gaeun, she was never going to make the final line up. Her concept is too mature for what they wanted izone to be.
