IZone officially opens pre-order for first full album "BLOOM*IZ"

Girl group IZone will come back after a long break.

On the afternoon of February 4, an announcement was posted on the official fancafe of IZ*ONE. It reads, "Pre-order for the full album vol.1 'BLOOM*IZ' of IZ*ONE". Accordingly, fans can buy online 3 new albums and 1 kit album of IZone from 3 pm (KST) February 4.

IZ*ONE is a Korea-Japan girl group debuting on October 29, 2018, via the program "Produce 48" (Mnet). The group has 12 members, including center Jang Wonyoung, Miyawaki Sakura, Jo Yuri, Choi Yena, An Yujin, Yabuki Nako, Kwon Eunbi, Kang Hyewon, Honda Hitomi, Kim Chaewon, Kim Minju, and Lee Chaeyeon.

The title song "La Vie en Rose" out in 2018 became a big hit and brought IZone the Rookie of the Year and the New Asian Artist awards at the "Asia Artist Awards" (AAA) and "Mnet Asian Music Awards". To 2019, the girls sequentially added to their accolades the Rookie Award in album category at "Golden Disc Awards", the Best Rookie at "High1 Seoul Music Awards", The Rookie of the Year at "Gaon Chart Music Awards" and the V Live Global Rookie Top 5 at "V Live Awards V HEARTBEAT".

However, IZ*ONE's activity was suspended as the vote manipulation controversy of PD Ahn Joon Young in "Produce 101" series broke out in 2019. In this regard, fans still hope that IZone's activity can get back to normal. At the same time, the group's members and representatives of their agencies were also having discussions about this issue. Finally, they made a decision that pleased IZ*ONE's fans.

In January, Mnet's side announced, "With our respect for fans' opinions and the IZ*ONE members' wish to normalize their activity, we decided to resume the group's activity. We will really appreciate if everyone still shows enthusiastic support for the IZ*ONE members, who have suffered from mental pain over the past period although they did nothing wrong, so the group can go through valuable time with their fans in the future."

As IZ*ONE planned to come back in November 2019, this album will definitely be released with more thorough preparation. Also, since this is their first full album, the members have devoted their effort, sweat, and tears into it. Moreover, this is also a new product the group release in Korea 10 months after the mini-album vol.2 "HEART*IZ", which came out in April 2019.

The album's title "BLOOM*IZ" is a combination of the words "Bloom" and "IZ*ONE" with the meaning "Blooming". The album also portrays various aspects of the 12 girls with top-notch beauty ahead of the full bloom. In the published cover photo, the visuals of the members are perfect like flowers.

As such, IZone will release the ending for the group's flower album series, following "La Vie en Rose" and "Violeta". IZ*ONE first full album will be available on online music sites at 6 pm (KST) February 17.
