i hope this year gonna be a much much better year than 2020

This looks like it might be good for IZ*ONE or REALY BAD. From the translation of the Naver article (google yea I know). It looks like they had decided internally to only promote IZ*ONE until the end of 2020 and had informed the other companies that the IZ*ONE member idols came from to that fact. Also the production units and housing leases etc are also technically expired... This was different than the orignal planned departure date of April 2021. Now they are trying to re-negotiate with some but not all the agencies and housing etc to extend their contract date past "now" to a future date that hasn't been disclosed.

Effect. (from a IZ*ONE fans point of view)
1) worst case.. IZ*ONE as far as new music promotion is over "now"... (prob low)
2) best case... IZ*ONE continues indefinitely with multi year new contract for everyone. (prob low)
3) middle case. IZ*ONE gets its contract extended until April or shortly thereafter as normally thought. (prob high)
4) some but not all members decide to extend their contract to an in-determinant time. (Prob medium)
