So.. yes. I finally had time to properly listen to Seulgi's new album. Did you guys discuss it already?

tbh I'm a bit underwhelmed. Only two songs stood out for me. Rollin with the homies and Weakness. And maybe only cuz they have a catchy sing-a-long chorus .
I feel her 1st mini was "better." Although.. I wasn't feeling that one much either. But it showcased her vocals more and the songs were a bit more experimental/risky?
As someone who is Seulgi bias I kinda hoped for a different album this time. I was excited by the teasers. idk what it is. I know she has so much potential as a soloist and I kinda just want her to go out there and KILL IT! But imo it just comes off as forgettable? I rarely listen to 28 reasons album. I rather listen to Irene's album. in fact, I listen to the other member's solo albums more. ie. Joy, Wendy, Irene, Seulgi. in that order. but.. maybe its just not my style. I like to listen to something uplifting or something that grooves. I love ballads and slow songs too so that's not the case. Like I said, it just seems forgettable.

yeah... the timing of her CB was not good for me. It happen right before my trip to Korea and aespa concert so I was very busy!

Then when I returned home I had other obligations cuz Taemin concert was a week later. Not that I'm a fan of him or Shinee, but it was the first ever Kpop artist to have a concert at our Arena. So I was busy promoting it .

Then it just took me long time to settle in and get back to my routine, work etc.

I'd like to know (In order) what RV solo albums you listen to the most?

When it comes to ranking red velvet songs it's hard to rank them. It's harder to rank albums cos one album might have a one song that is really really good but the rest are okay while another album might have 3 or 4 songs that are okay. And tbh ranks changes by mood for me.
Joy may be fair game to you but not to me cos I've heard a few songs from her that are covered by other artists lol. Je t'aime is a very popular one lol

You made me realized that I didn't say anything about the b-sides. It was a solid album, I understand why you say it's forgettable. For me it was a chill album. Maybe because I didn't have much expectations, I enjoyed more than 28 reasons album.
My favorite songs are Better Dayz and Praying.

Like a Flower is a solid 2nd place.
3rd place is definitely Hello.
4th place Accidentally On Purpose
5th place is 28 reasons. I took my time warming to the b-sides.

yeah. and to be clear not saying I didn't like it or was "bad" etc. Just that it didn't do much for me. And probably won't be listening to it on repeat like the other member's solo albums.

that's interesting.. "wish you hell" last place.
that's one of my fav rv solo album. I liked it better than Like Water. Again, probably cuz that one is filled with slow/ballad type songs. And nothing wrong with that cuz I love ballads but ... I really need to be in the mood to listen to it.
