230613 Wendy’s Youngstreet

Lee Inkwon: In my case, I was a regular on Youngstreet, left for some time, then came back again. Around 2-3 weeks after I left Youngstreet, I met Wendy coincidentally at the lobby. She was waving to me and said she has something for me. She gave me a farewell gift, and gave me a letter on top of that too. To be honest, taking care of someone who has already left is not something you can put on a facade and do just for show. It says a lot about a person’s innate character and their thoughtfulness towards others. I have not seen many celebrities like this. The person that people around me compliment the most is Wendy.

Subin: There are many great anecdotes about her

Lee Inkwon: There are so many. My friends in the entertainment industry, reporters, PDs etc, I have never seen a single one of them say something bad about Wendy before. No one.

Wanso: (about their hard times)

WanD: There are times when I'm too busy or having a hard time. But when I feel that way, listening to other people's various stories can motivate me to work harder. (...) And my fans say good things to me every day. They are a great comfort to me.

And my acquaintances/friends say a lot of good things to me to the point where I feel that I'm doing well. I'm comforted and motivated because they say good things to me anytime, anywhere, and they are always by my side. Thanks to them, I can continue to move forward.

In my case, neither of my parents liked me becoming a singer. But my friend asked me to go to an audition with them, so I secretly did it. I didn't expect much, but I passed the first audition. They told me to come again the next day. Since it's something I started anyway, I decided to talk to my parents about this. But I went with my mom because I thought my dad would get angry. And I haven't heard from the company for a while, they contacted me a few months later, and they offered me to come to Korea and become a trainee. And only then did I tell my father about it. My mom helped me persuade my dad, too. And they gave me a chance, telling me that my life is mine and the consequences of every choice are what I have to endure.
