Hi my STEM family! As some of you all know, the past 6 months I have been taking a Cert in Sports and Exercise Science. I had my last lesson close to a month ago, and my finals exams were two weeks ago. Right now, my result are pending and are scheduled to be released on Jan 2nd next year, but I am happy to say that the same school I am studying at have offered and accept my application for Diploma in Sports and Exercise Science!

These will be what I will be studying:

Among the modules offered, I am most interested in Physiology of Sport and Exercise, Sport and Exercise Psychology, and Biomechanics of Sport and Exercise. I am just so happy that my dream of being a Sports Scientist/Sports Coach is getting closer.

It is funny because back in my Secondary School, Subjects related to STEM do not interest me and isn't my strong point. But ever since joining this STEM family, my interests in Science grow a lot.

Thank you! Yes, it is! During my cert course, I met some amazing lecturers! Some of them worked/currently working in various National team set-up in my country. And one of them ignited my interests in biomechanics! And the world of Sports are always evolving. In Sports, there is a saying that the more you learn, the more you realise how much things you dunno about. Maybe one day, I will be able to research and discover something new in Sports Science!
