JYP getting in Once nerves again, how is possible that boy groups with 1/10 success and fame have bigger world tours than Twice? how do you even pull that to work? Instead watch JYP sending Twice to the ISAC to sit without doing anything for a damn whole day because the organizer of that event wants them as a rating attractor...

It's kinda obvious, isn't it? Twice has been focusing the majority of their efforts the last few years on Japan, which is easily their most developed and lucrative market. The rest has been for SK, their home market, and a small fraction to Asia. There's a reason why Twice is the first GG to have a Japan Dome Tour, and that's not something you can achieve by being unfocused in your promotions. As for why Twicelights isn't bigger, the simple answer is that the high production value requires a targeted crowd capacity of 10K or more for it to make sense financially. Hence no INA Twicelights. "Bigger" world tours are easier if all you're trying to sell is a 2K-3K hall.

I donno - makes sense to me for them to focus their time so far in Japan and Asia since their title songs and most of their discography up to this point has been Asia-friendly color pop. It's also pretty obvious to me that this (limited) World Tour they are doing right now is only happening at this juncture in their careers because of the change in their music, which is definitely more Western friendly.

LOL. If you're upset that there's no Euro stop for Twicelights, I hear you. But not sending Twice to ISAC for a day isn't going to suddenly make a bigger world tour a reality.

Also lets get this straight. Twice used the last two years to solidify themselves in Japan and in Korea and the bright energetic girl group. It worked. Now they are moving on. We can see that with Breakthrough Chapter 2. And With Twice 2.0. Japan is getting the attention it deserves because thats where the money is coming from. Korea is getting their hits because the attention is bringing sales. Twice will probably focus on Japan even more as ITZY looks to establish themselves.

Also remember that these concerts are perfect places to hide spoilers for an upcoming comeback. Knowing Twice it doesnt matter if it is in October or August, they will be preparing for it from now

Since most BGs survive off of fandom/album sales/concerts but in most cases are ignored by the general public, they'll be sent off on longer tours often outside SK to make money. That's just the business model. Got7 is a perfect example of this.

GGs even if they don't have the fandom size or ability to sell as many albums, can still thrive with general public support via digital streaming/sales and advertisements. Twice has the best of both worlds with fan base and public recognition but they need to weight the balance on how to best use their time.
