Past JP purchases of Twice Korean album were about 50k to 60k in the first week.
Even factoring and assuming some growth in JP purchases, the jump in Hanteo this time is huge.

Hopefully JYPE will shed some light on this when they release media report about the huge hanteo jump.

Not sure if there is anything to shed light on. It's basically fans frontloading their purchases, and this time going thru certified stores. We did some calculations, and it looks like the Chinese fan clubs contributed around 90K of the presales. Ktown4u had a promo going on offering a good discount of bundles, and Onces were not only organizing group orders (working closely with these online portals) but also taking donations / gofundmes for additional album purchases. Add to all that the fact that more and more stores are being Hanteo certified, esp in the US and Japan, so inevitably we'll see our Hanteo / Gaon disparity diminish.
