Answering both.

@Whisky
I mentioned ISAC because JYP has been filling Twice schedule with all sorts of irrelevant events that do not allow the girls rest or concentrate on more important things, it would be wonderful if only someone could answer me what was the point of suddenly sending Twice to that event in Guam last year where they had to rehearsals in an extreme climate and where some of the girls almost fainted... in what benefit the girls all that after 6 months? And that's what I'm talking about, those worthless events consuming Twice's valuable time instead of the company employing it in better things.

Your justification about the japanese and korean market is absurd, because tours are not only to generate some dollars but also to promote the group and solidify their status in certain regions. And in that this tour is failing miserably on its dates in US, not Twice touring in the states without a single drop of promotions before, during or after the tour, not even an interview or anything, and even when fans asked a lot of shows and youtube channels to invite Twice and make them promotion the company refused, incredible that a company plans a tour one year in advance and doesn't take into consideration something like this, seriously what's not clicking with JYP?

@grandmajudy
I understand what you say, and still does not justify that this world tour is so small and so poorly promoted in the places where it needs promotion.

Irrelevant. Absurd. Failing miserably. What's not clicking with JYP? Damn...you'd think we were talking about some nugu failure of a group here, not the most successful 3rd gen GG, and best selling Kpop GG of all time, but okay...

Anyway...I was writing a long-ass response to your points, but then I reread this..
how is possible that boy groups with 1/10 success and fame have bigger world tours than Twice?
and I realized that there's probably not much I could possibly write that would be able to get my point across. So I will just end this discussion by highlighting these few points.

1. I personally don't think that selling 70%-80% of their tour tickets means that they "failed miserably". but hey..maybe I just have low standard.
2. I'm pretty sure that if JYPE felt confident that a tour location would bring in a decent amount of concert profits, they would schedule it.
3. JYPE has access to NA sales data that neither you nor I have access to. They probably have a better handle on the potential demand for Twice in NA, or anywhere for that matter, than armchair CEOs like us. But it should be clear to anyone that NA isn't a primary market for them at this time or in the immediate future.
4. Their target market for the Twicelights NA leg is clearly existing kpop fans within the US/MX. Since there is no Kpop fan on earth that doesn't know who Twice is, there's really no need to promote on US talk shows targeting US GP, who aren't likely to suddenly show up to a kpop concert nor be as receptive to Twice's colorpop repertoire.
5. It's pretty evident (to me, at least) from their extremely tight tour schedule that it was planned around cost management. And if they are managing for costs, it likely that JYPE has assessed the US leg as risky and potentially loss-making.
6. BTS only started touring the US and hitting the talk shows in 2017. But they've had good NA sales for several years prior. By then, it was already clear from the Billboard world charts that there was a lot of demand and interest in BTS. My point is that appearing on a couple of talk shows or popular YT channels isn't going to suddenly sell out a concert.
7. I'm pretty sure that if Twice intends to promote actively in the US, they'll do it when they're good and ready.

Cheers.
