In the old OH thread I always said Twice is popular enough to sell out big venues in US and JYPE should not make Twice performed at small venues. Glad that I was right.

Unlike many other Kpop groups, TWICE has a lot of schedules and performance. Concert touring is highly tiring physically and mentally. Rather than performing at small venue, they are better off getting some rest. Too much touring = burnt-out artists.

While I agree to an extent, the issue will be defining what constitutes a small venue, as Twice popularity grows but differs depending on location. It certainly doesn't make sense to send them to a 1K-3K hall. But there are also some people who object to the JP leg of Twicelights, claiming that (in JP, at least) Twice should only do Dome concerts, and that even the 8K-10K JP arenas are "not worth doing". People should bear in mind that (in JP, anyway), concert merch sales are a significant portion of Twice's concert revenues, so concert attendance numbers are only a part of the equation for concert profitability.

This is a new pic? Tzuyu's hair color seems different.

It's probably at least a week old, other than Tzuyu, there are also pictures of Dahyun's new hair color floating around on twitter.

In the old OH thread I have always used 8k to 10k as an 'acceptable' venue size for Twice.
I am basing on venue size for GG in general. To me, 3k to 5k is not worth the time based on their current work schedules.

Furthermore, I am referring to flying around to different countries.
Japan is a different case altogether.
Technically it is performing in one country and there is no long-distance flying and time zone issue.

Most importantly, Twice members seems like they always enjoyed their stay in Japan. I lost count on how many times members talked about the foods they loved in JP convenience stores and in general. Last year Twice lived in Japan for 2 to 3 weeks when they did a series of small 3k to 5k JP venues before their Arena and Dome Tours. At that time Twice members said in their vlives that they rested and slept a lot during their JP stay.

When it comes to JP, I am happy to go with Warner JP and JYPE's decisions. They have done a good job in developing the JP markets since debut.
Oh, have I ever said I am expecting another single or album for JP before 2019 ends? ;)

I think we all are. :tea2:

As for the Twicelights JP leg, I think Arena level venues are fine, though smaller ones (5K-6K) in outlying areas is sorta acceptable (I think their Miyagi venue will top around 6K or slightly less.). But although the spacing between concerts is generous (around a week), I suspect unfortunately, considering how cost-conscious JYPE has been this year, that the girls will be coming back to SK after most if not all their JP concerts. I hope I'm wrong about that, though. I'm hoping to see them on more JP TV shows.
