True, but those genre statements have never been quite "truthful". We should collect them all. My contribution:

Fancy - “mellow mood pop dance track that blends a trendy feel with elegant flute sound”
(don't have time to find the others, but I do remember reggae being mentioned with YOY)

Looks like the main digital contenders will be 09/23 - Lee Haeri (Davichi) and 09/25 - AKMU. Twice's past title songs have also been released together with them and I think with AKMU at least 2 times. There is no guaranteed clear winner, it will all boil down to how good are the respective songs being released.

Thankfully, the real top Digimon would have charted 2 weeks by 9/23.

But what is false about fancy description? trendy feel = dubchaeng trap rap verse, elegant flute sound = sana and tzuyu prechorus. Fancy have everything mentioned.

Also in YoY you have second verse starting with reggae feel

Every producer is handling every artist and group in a different way, and will also get different instructions from the company. I wouldn't worry at all.

Not to mention, that he also has worked on some great tracks before.

Let's go through the title of all their mini albums (not counting Repackage and Full Album): Fancy You, Yes or Yes, What Is Love?, Signal, Twicecoaster, Page Two, The Story Begins.

The last 4 Mini albums all had the same title as the title track. It's really not so unrealistic to think that there is a high chance that this will be the case this time as well.

Adios is pretty good. Just please stay from the ZZB mess :jinjudge: Can't remember All night. Haven't heard the other songs. Buuuut both Adios and ZZB did well in the west iirc so that might be the results they are looking for.


I'm still very much excited for a new producer tho.
