Initially I thought this might be some throwback since Jeongyeon and Momo's hair reminded me of their Sixteen days. But now I'm not sure anymore

But since you mentioned personal past... there were also dolls behind Momo's set and we know she loves dolls. I feel like everything has been pointing to some nostalgic or retro theme. And not to forget they did mention the song would be melancholic/nostalgic.
