Article about Dubu on Elite Daily (written by a Once apparently). This is the second piece on a Twice member on Elite Daily, the first one being about Jihyo released just 9 days ago. Wonder if they will do write-ups on all 9 members?
(FYI, ED is part of Bustle Media Group, who claims to be a female-focused digital media company. Nylon is under the same group)

Looks like someone was in the wrong position :hehe:

Edit: Just checked the dance practice video - seems her position was not wrong but not sure why that expression on her face :TzuyuKek:

Meanwhile, Sam has to sell hundreds of albums in his "non-profit making" GO to go to the fanmeet.

I can already draw up the syllabus for the accelerated Once 101 course - Step 1: get a million followers on Twitter.

edit: You should show the next post too.

Sam get out of the way, the new number one #ONCE is here!

Bow down to our new blue checkmark on #Twitter #ONCES!

Yeah I was thinking more from my own perspective rather than the GP/non-Twice fans - I think the monotone aspect of the chorus and no memorable/catchy dance stopped it being as popular as Fancy ended up being for the GP/non-Twice fans.

I have an inherent dislike of trap as I find it so unimaginative and I'm pretty sure kpop groups use the same beat and flow whenever they throw it in i.e. Dahyun's parts in Trick It are very similar, just seems an easy fix to give the rap line something to do. A song like Likey though, which is one of their best arranged songs by a mile imo, fits it in perfectly.

I can't say that I'm a huge fan of rap in KPOP and that is mostly due to the way their flow is. I think the section in Feel Special is adequate as in it does its job with the accompanying BOOOMING 808's but yeah the "rapping" is not what you would say I'd prefer as it is more like talk sing/half-almost rapping. It does stick out like a sore thumb.

Congrats Twice for Feel Special 7th win👏

Was an amazing cb overall and I truly enjoyed the song, MV and album. Knew the minute I saw the first teaser and slowly the rest that followed we were in for a treat and this era did not disappoint🤟

I'd agree - boy or girl group I'm not massive on it, the flow and something unavoidable which is not understanding the lyrics without having subs in front of me makes it hard to appreciate even the ones with good flow/delivery. When you take that away from rap there's not a lot left to appreciate.

I've found that I enjoy boygroups like EXO/Winner with the RnB and melodious sounds more over the likes of BTS/Stray Kids/Big bang (though they all have odd songs songs I like) who rely more on the rap side for this exact reason. Unless I'm looking for some gym music where I'd want a heavy beat, I need nice melodies when it comes to any non-English songs.
