Btw about the the talk on “liking” Breakthrough and Happy Happpy equally. Reminds me of someone once said:

You love your children equally, but there’s one you like more. It’s like the difference between running and walking. Suppose you’re sitting on your couch at home, then you hear somebody scream. Then you realize it’s Mary so you go running, “I’m coming, baby!” On the other hand, if it’s Gwen who was screaming, you just walk, “Oh, fuck it”

You’ll still go to both of them, but you run for one and walk for the other.

To me, there will always be magic in Twice’s bright, colorful and energetic concepts. They have this ability to uplift your mood and bring a smile to your face which Happy Happy perfectly embodies. Twice is not called human vitamins/ happy pill for no reason. So while I love that Twice is expanding their horizon concept wise and showing us fans and non-fans that they can do more and be more (although we already know that from their stages), their bright and poppy concepts will always have a special place in my heart. It is something that I hope they don’t abandon even if I know it might be something the girls are starting to outgrow.
This new and stronger Twice is of course also special because it was the product of years of growing up, maturing, improving in skill set and achieving great success for the girls. I can’t wait for what more they have in store for us this year since all their titles this year so far (Fancy, BT and HH) were all SOTY material to me. Even FY bsides are some of their best.
