I'm not really a fan of press and fansites waiting on groups at airport - I think it's another point of stress for idols that they don't need. But I did watch this one, and I must say that I'm happy that JYPE put up a significant amount of security for Mina and mom's return. There were 8 guys escorting just the two of them.

Mina also looks more relaxed and comfortable compared to the last time she came back with mom. Plus, she was rocking those stiletto heels/boots.

I hope they still take it step by step with her recovery, but I'm sure Mina will do well.

I think that there is a mention in the "Hana report" there might be a cb or repackage? for the 4th quarter of 2019 if I am not mistaken.

I think the repack is for Feel Special, no? &Twice is only being released on Nov 20, so a Dec repack is unlikely I think. Besides, J-Onces need their money for Twicelights and concert goods.

Recently, there was an article about JYPE going after malicious commenters. I think all of us applauded it, and I myself thought it was the usual hate comments directed to Twice and idols in general. Turns out however, that the comments were directed towards one member in particular - Jihyo.

According to this Insight Korea article, JYPE's actions on the 23rd was in response to rising negative comments targeting Jihyo. The highlighted comments were timestamped around Oct 11th and 12th, which would have coincided with the last few days of the Feel Special comeback (Dahyun's pitch was on the 10th, Tzuyu's Coach event on the 11th, and their pre-recorded Music Core performance on the 12th). I don't think the comments from the article were the ones submitted by JYPE to the authorities for action though, and one of the comments highlighted was defending Jihyo. But as previous reports indicated, there were certainly more negative comments out there.

I'm thankful that JYPE responded relatively quickly to these comments...within two weeks, it seems. But I am still upset that Jihyo continues to be targeted by these malicious comments, something that's being going on since Sixteen. I hope the new legislation proposed to better protect celebrities from online attacks comes online soon. If you want a translation of those comments, you can find it on this KB article.

On a more positive note, a nation-wide survey of university / college students was conducted (31st Annual College Student Consciousness Survey, or something like that). For the category of "Most Preferred Singer" the top 5 voted by SK's students were:

1. IU
2. BTS
3. Park Hyo Shin
4. Girls’ Generation’s Taeyeon
5. TWICE

Arg! People who take social media for malicious purposes are unhappy, broken, damage beings. Jype/Jyp seems to be working on making an effort to stop those mean spirit people from their hate/malicious comments and lies, good for Jype artists, all companies should do the same, not only a few.
