The blood on X-EXO Kai's mouth and also the make-up for the areas around the eyes. Maybe it's because it's more in the light than the dark that makes the stuff look more scary than Monster. Monster had most of their promos/teasers half-covered by darkness. This is staring at you right in the open, much more of a threat, lel.
