It's so weird. I like X-EXO Kai's hair dye but don't like EXO Kai's hair dye. Maybe it's because EXO Kai's hair looks dead.

Spoiler: theory about new stuff, no pics included, though

Maybe the clones are supposed to be some neo (not The Matrix, lel)-type ones with wild hair colors...?? Like 'new' so the hair would look bright and fresh (in a way). IDK.
But that idea is tossed out whenever you get to X-EXO Chen because he has black hair.
Much to think about.

Things SM is good at: concepts, sales, idols, concerts, songs

Things SM is bad at: promotions, fair treatment, forgetting their older artists more than a few times, being sued, crystal CD cases (maybe not now but it used to be a problem), over editing photos, not taking advantage of an SM idol being in the news and pushing a single out related to said news (any music program that their idols are on whenever they cover a song like King of Masked Singer, etc).

Haha I'm fully aware of how shitty SM is as a company as I also stan NCT :v I'm praying that SM doesn't ditch them in a few years but I know it's gonna happen most likely

Well, NCT is a group that can have any amount of members vs. EXO that has a specific number even after it lessened from 12 to 9. I don't see SM throwing NCT out.

Not that I'd want SM to throw them out, either. But I mean looking at it from the big ideas way that Lee Sooman introduced the NCT concept, it feels more like an eternal plan than any other group under SM currently.

Come on, now. EXO Kai has better material for badges here. Too much yellow coloration in X-EXO Kai's photos. Probably makes it harder to edit it for the badges/awards.

I mean, badge wise I suppose EXO Kai is better but X-EXO Kai looks so cool with the eye lenses and the creepy vibe. The normal Kai looks out of Universe MV with that turtleneck(?) sweater

I'm repeating what @Mina said to us about choosing sides. Don't go with just hotness, go with visual aesthetics like colors. Lol. Makes their job easier whenever editing.

But from a biased point: I prefer the normal one minus that dead-looking hair. IDK how X-EXO Kai has less dead-looking hair. Guessing they photographed/filmed the X-EXO version before the normal version...so his hair was looking less alive.
