i haven't watched the live action. Just the fanmade mvs and saw that it has a good-looking cast :poggers:

wish i picked it up earlier so i could join in the fun! i have heard about it for a long time actually.. i just never tried it because it wasn’t a game/sport i am familiar with and since they are japanese poems, i wouldn’t understand it at all. i am still learning the rules of the game but i think i got most of it now after 2 seasons :poggers:

i think i just like stories about bands with mentally ill members
that being said ive only watched Bochi The Rock and Given but im watching Ave Mujica next (MyGO!!!!! direct sequel)

me saying this only to find yet another character in ave mujica that resonate to me so much personally to the point that it scares me a little :iwillfightyou:

So @boo i think you'd go ahead and watch the anime cuz reading the manga just wont do it justice imo. The anime ended at a good point/not a cliffhanger or anything!

Interesting.. I’ve never tried it. Usually my go to is idol music so if I watch something music related, it would be ones with idols :poggers:

Koto on the other hand seems like one of those instruments from my period c dramas I usually watch so it does seem kind of interesting!

Lol i know which instrument you're referring to. This is similar yes...honestly, just give it a go! If you like Chihayafuru, i think you'll like this. The characters are likable and the main couple is cute

and then when chihaya came crying to not leave, he said am i made of stone and then how all card looks black to him.. that was crazy, i don’t think i will be able to feel as much if i was reading the manga but the anime did it so beautifully

Ahhh dont you remind me of those...it was so sad yet beautifully done :pandafrozen:

Madhouse at their peak is kinda my favorite studio tbh. They've made some many of my most favorite animes like HxH, chihayafuru, claymore, death note, etc :poggers:

I cant wait for Chihaya's confession to be animated. Taichi looked so good with shorter hair as well :blushblob:
