You can clearly see that Somi turns her hand and tries to touch the wall with the inside of her hand. In addition, she bends down, because the wall is farther away than she thought. You can see that almost her whole arm disappears behind Hyunjin.

Apparently people are already giving Yeonjung some flack for not joining the I.O.I reunion, and I expect people to hop on the bandwagon in order to give Somi the same treatment as well. This is part of the reason why I wanted her to join, especially if the number of members joining the comeback is so close to 11 (9), which makes it hard to consider it a unit like OT7 were. I wanted her to avoid that opportunity for haters to rise and shine against her, but welp.
