i personally want them to do more things like Fancy and Breakthrough but i want them to still sing fresh and bright songs in the future too so mix it up

I agree actually. Fancy and BT are two best GG releases this year, keeping perfect balance between matured Twice yet still give positive and non-tryharding vibes :hearteu:

The Billboard Japan vs Oricon thing is coming again, Billboard Japan also counts overseas shipments and bulk buys.

So why at the end of the day Oricon is the favorite when Billboard Japan covers much more?

Mainly because Billboard itself just recently started counting sales officially on their site since around 2015+ or so. So it would be unfair to use Oricon numbers for the 1,000+ artist and groups that had releases before 2015 and use Billboard, which always has higher sales, for newer groups. That's why we only combine Gaon and Oricon. If you however want to compare newer groups who've had releases since Billboard start releasing the sale numbers then thats okay. But it wont be counted in Twice's overall total. It's like when certain fandoms use Chinese $0.50USD albums and adds them to overall album sales. It's misleading and purposefully disingenuous

So it looks like it won't be able to outdo HH's 1st week sales which I guess was kinda expected. Still though, selling almost 500k+ copies between the two singles is really good and shows just how much J-Once pull through.

It's JYP trying to compensate Twice no summer comeback with merchandise? There are about 6 different lines of merchandise selling at the same time, it's getting annoying. The concert DVDs should be released faster, a whole year to get the high quality audio and video of the concerts is painfull.
