Quick analysis of NiziU MV views. This is for the Japanese version of Make You Happy only.
The lifetime views as of Thursday night was 124,448,238 views of which according to the charts.youtube.com 91,760,389 of those were from Japan.
This corresponds to 73.73% of the MV views originating from Japan and only 26.27% of the views coming from other sources.
This past week from Friday Morning a week ago to this past Thursday Night NiziU increased in views 9,036,578 views of which 8,555,645 of those came from japan from the charts data. This corresponds to 94.68% views or only 5.32% of the views are originating outside of Japan.

The MV is still on week #13 the most viewed MV in Japan this past week ahead of Kanden, HigeDandism, Aymer, Yoasobi, and even Arashi's come back MV Whenever you call.

My guess is that it's a countdown to JYP's appearance/performance on Sukkiri!! where he'll also release some news about NiziU's debut.

Hmm... Stray Kids are releasing their JP mini album on Nov 4. With Twice's JP single coming out on Nov 18, NiziU's comeback is either going to be end Nov, or maybe even later.

Wonder if the Japanese fans are mobilizing and hope the girls don't get too mobbed. I remember commenting when they originally arrived in Korea as part of the Nizi Project that them ariving without recognition and fans was the last time that would happen.

Ahhh...as I suspected they would. Well, full promo under Covid isn't quite the same, but still much better than trying to debut from SK. I certainly hope fans don't show up - even the newsites/fansites was getting way too close for comfort. Hopefully, the girls will stay safe and healthy throughout their debut campaign.
