The girls were nervous but did well in their first live TV appearance. It's nice to see they still have a lot of traction in Japan.

Also nice seeing them getting a show outside of NTV. CDTV is a well known show from TBS so it feels like it was a NTV/Sony thing holding them back from the other networks like some people were hypothesizing.

I wonder how much they will be in shows in Japan. Being in Japan and a native Japanese group would make sense to add them to more different shows other than the music specific ones, but I don't know how comfortable JYP would be with it given how much more out there Japanese Tv is compared to Korean Tv. Specially in this day and age of cancel culture and sns witch hunts. Maya seems like she likes owarai and Japanese variety humor in general and I think she would do great in a variety idol style like Sashihara Rino, Asahi Nao, Kikuchi Ami and other variety idols. But I fear the fandom outside of Japan making issues where there are none be it antis or over-protectiveness.

It's gonna be fun having the self-shot footage of the girls. Showcasing more of their personalities is a great treat for fans and a good way to get more people to join in.

It's a shame Miihi couldn't be there but I hope she is taking care of herself and takes her time so she can recover properly.

It's also gonna be interesting seeing if they go the Japanese way of promoting or the Korean. Japan usually puts the song out there way before, even playing the MV on tv before it's released to buy and Korea usually does it all in the same day or in close proximity. I can't really remember how JYPE and Warner do it for Twice.

So today at 10PM Japanese time and after 120 days NiziU's Make you Happy has surpassed Mr Taxi in MV views. This makes the video Make You Happy original version the most viewed Japanese MV from a Korean or KPOP agency. While there is some debate if NiziU is a KPOP group or a JPOP group the fact is they were formed and trained by a Korean agency. So congratulations to the girls on this great achievement. Make You Happy = 154,226,347, Mr Taxi = 154,224,353

Possibly. When you don't eat healthily or enough your immune system suffers. I'm in the mind of it being something else though. She seemed a bit fuller in the face and calf muscles in the promo pictures after they did the hair color changes as compaired with the Make You Happy promo pictures. They wording of the hiatus message also said she started feeling unwell which points to something else for me. They purposely make those announcements cryptic so it is all speculation at this point. From how the girls behaved on Sukkiri I don't hink it is anything too severe though otherwise it would have been hard for the girls to maintain a fun joking perspective on the show and I didn't get any hint of that.
