Nope! I am in Europe But thank you! I really hope that my country's government does something because the increasing number of the cases is not a joke. They probably expect for it to spread around the country so everyone gets it and goes through it.

I think that SM can be very harsh when it comes to contracts. I believe that the renewal of contracts got in the way of promoting for their 10th year anniversary and it was SM's way of punishing them/or trying to make them feel bad that if you don't renew with us, look at what we can do. It would not be the first time when they did something like this. They definitely did not want to release the girls to the other companies so easily, so they tried to pull some strings backstage.

No idea about what happened for 100% so it is all speculation for now XD Because I wish they just gave us a disbandment announcement and everyone can be happy about it. But now it felt like a silent disbandment, so the announcement was at least deserved to calm down the fans. But then again it is Kpop. I have seen so many companies, even on the larger scale, not to use a "disbandment" word.

And I am excited about Secret Number. I remember Lea (or Mizuki) from her Skarf days so it was interesting to see her redebut many years later and I only wish her all of the best And Jinny also worked so hard to be where she is. I really love Dita's vocals. I was shocked when I first heard her in their debut. I only really knew Lea and Jinny before their debut but Dita blew my mind.

I thought so... Idk how the situation is in Europe... I guess some areas are worse than others? I think lockdowns help up to a point. It may slow things down as people will have limited interaction. but think the majority is to seize travelers coming and going as that's a big problem. And we also need a vaccine

If you want to keep working with someone... you make it better, not worse. And I believe SM does everything they can to keep their artists renewing (on good terms). Like even idols who kinda of made it difficult like Tao. They really tried to get him to stay but I think Tao just already had his own agenda and/or his demands were high. And we have seen the 3 members of snsd who left were on good terms. And still associate themselves with sm idols still in the company. If SM were that bad and threatened them in such a way I doubt they would even step foot near them. Also I feel most SM idols don't really want to leave SM. At least not those who are korean. Cuz I can't think of one non-foreigner SM idol who has left SM who is doing better than when they were with the company. Most of them struggling. You either see less of them or they disappear.

I'd say that Seohyun is doing well for herself post-SM? She is getting acting roles and she is still on the variety shows - which makes me happy for her. It was not related to SM when I was reading it, but SM is big 3. Can't confirm if it is true or not. Just saw people discussing it on twitter. So take it with a grain of salt too.

maybe that is part of why we are still i this covid mess. Every country... every state has their own agenda / government on how to handle the situation. No one is really communicating between each other. I would think we should look at the area who has zero to none cases and see what they are doing. And follow their procedures.

I was talking all SM idols in general. But for snsd... I mean.. yeah. guess Seohyun and Sooyoung are doing ok. But it's no different than what they were doing in SM before. And seems like we see them less now in the public eye than before. the 3 members were saying how they just wanted to take a different path from what SM could give them etc. So they didn't renew. Tiffany was pretty obvious as she went to U.S. and made a name for herself. But the other two... I keep thinking.. you left SM to do what? Lol. You're doing the same thing but only less of it. Unless.. that's what they wanted? and they just didn't want to focus on anything "music related". cuz that's pretty much what's missing since they left. I know Sooyoung released something and had like a showcase (which I have a story in itself I could talk about) but.. that was it.

those other sm idols you mention.. well.. Krystal is still considered foreigner. She doesn't need to rely much on Korean public. same with Ex-EXO members Kris, Tao, Luhan, or f(x) Victoria, Amber etc. That's why I said specially non-foreigners. Cuz these idols can go back to their home country or operate elsewhere and not be affected much. When you live in Korea.. a Korean citizen... your future is basically in Korea. Even with BTS and other kpop idols right now, they can get all the media exposure they like around the world. But at the end of the day... they will still need to come back to Korea. 5-10 years from now.. realistically will BTS still be where they are now with America? I mean.. not even western boy bands last that long. I think that's why the members invested in shares with BigHit. They are planning for the future when they get old. No one stays an idol forever.

As for S.E.S. well.. they weren't exactly active as a group for long time and like you said, just doing their own thing. ie. getting married living life etc. So when they finally not renew with SM there wasn't any change anyway. Lol.

I'm mostly talking about those who are somewhat active within the company. Cuz most of the biggest complaints I see online from fans is "so and so should leave SM" , "they lack in promotions," "so and so should start their own company". They think their faves leaving all of a sudden their favs will get more promotions.. see them everywhere! 5 comebacks a year. haha. But that's not gonna happen. they are only thinking of their own selfish wants. not the idols. And if it was so simple of starting your own company I think many would be doing it.

Funny you should mention Jessica / Krystal season 2. Was that rumored to be before Jessica left? Cuz her leaving definitely would seize releasing anything with the SM brand on it. My friend who used to work in SM also told me that they already had a JungSis album done for their subunit debut. But of course we will never get to hear it cuz she is no longer with the company. And then Krystal was rumored to have her own debut. But.. think Krystal just said the hell with it.. I'm not renewing anyway. And she always seem to be more comfortable just acting anyway.

Now for Vine Ent. oh! well.. ok.. yeah... 167k views is pretty rookie status. maybe I will go back and check them out. But SN just seems to be on a different level. Think they have the highest YT views for a rookie this year? currently about 28M?

on Vine account I see they have a number or people like actors/actresses as well. and I think there's a guy name Baek Jin ? He was on the survival show season that had x1? also under Vine. I remember he would pop up sometimes on Jinnys live and I had no idea who he was but he had quite a bit of followers. idk if he is still trying to become an idol tho. I think he's already like 26 yrs? But seems like vine doesn't really care much about age. As most of the SN girls are little older than most GGs who debut.

fashion king just wasnt my type i guess. idk. maybe you will like it. but i just got bored.

iris was more of a thriller. no snsd members... but regardless, i'd recommend. it has lee byung-hun and kim tae-hee. really good cast. school 2015 is an interesting concept. also well acted.

I was actually pretty engrossed in it. then after BoA had her scenes/eps I kinda got lazy and stopped watching it. LOL. always thought I should rewatch but ... hasn't happened yet. I think BigBang TOP was in one of them too? Or I might be thinking of another one
