I came across this on my youtube algorithm :sehunehh:. So... 3 years later and here we are.
aespa has come a long way! They definitely a force to be reckon with. I wonder what haters would say now?

Still.. I don't think you can compare. BP member are more focused on Western market. Focused more on fashion besides music. Their music seems to come secondary. And their music success seems to be based more on popularity than the music itself. The success of their music also seems to be a result of thirst from their fans.
They also have a lot of help from the media. Example, my local pop radio station shoves BP and BTS down listeners throats everyday. If you gonna do that of course the songs will get more attention with listeners. 🤷‍♂️
aespa is and will continue to be more well-rounded. And I don't feel SM's plan is for them to take over the western market. Yes.. they will release stuff and promote. But it won't be like a SuperM thing. Of course, every company wants to spread out and touch base over the globe. And I see nothing wrong with that. I never know why people get so upset or try to shade when they say "(insert name is desperate for western validation). Not every idol who promotes or releases a English song is after western validation 🤷‍♀️.

I think they put more emphasis on the posture so fans can recognize the cosplay.
