the exact size 1200x300 (click for real size, apparently too big for the forum post width
)
but then when i upload it, it gets resized or something
also the quality gets reduced turning it from png to jpg
are there ways to have up my png sharp banner on my profile as it's suppose to look like
instead of how it looks right now, which makes me sad

Unfortunately we can't really do anything about it, it's in the software and it's beyond my capabilities to change it.
HOWEVER. There is an alternative. The profile will look slightly different but may be what you are looking for. I already edited your profile so you can see what it looks like.
If you go to Account details, you will see this. Instead of uploading you can use a URL and the quality will be preserved. What do you think? If you don't like it, you can reupload it and use it that way. This way is a little be more limited since you can't move around or pinpoint exactly what you want, but this way will preserve quality.
