just a question. if a user doesnt post all the info in a thread on a group, is it wrong to make a thread with all the info. i mean will the thread i make be locked and taken down? or should i just notify that user to update their thread since it's now rendered incomplete

Yeah you should notify them. If you simply create a new thread, we'll end up merging the two, since it's about the same topic.

There's no real tool for it yet since we're still searching for one, but here is a trick you can use:

1) Open the search tool on the right
2) Change "everywhere" into "this thread" (you have to be in the specific thread you wanna check)
3) Type your username next to "By"
4) The research will give you all the posts you wrote in that thread. Check the amount of pages and quickly do the math (1 page of results = 20 posts).
