Submission 1
"Unrest was growing among the tribe. The wind was growing colder, and snow couldn’t be far behind. The harvest had been scarce and the people demanded answers from their leader.
The chief stood on the cliffs outside the village, looking down upon his clansmen and their families. His thoughts weighed heavily on him, each line on his forehead representing a new worry. He himself had forgone most meals for the time being to ensure the others had enough food, leaving his belly empty and his mind clouded.
“Perhaps we could sell most of the wool from this year. Have everyone wear their coats from last year, use the funds to import more grain to keep everyone fed,” he thought aloud.
“You’re going to worry yourself sick, you know,” a soft, familiar voice said behind him.
He turned to look at his wife, nodding silently. She beckoned him to come back inside their hut. He sighed and returned to the warmth indoors. She placed a bowl on the table in front of him.
“Smells delicious,” he said, “But not too much?”
“Just enough,” she smiled.
He took a bite of the meal in front of him. “Spicy,” he said, “Yet sweet. Delicious.”
“It’s Golden Curry!” she declared, holding the box up to a long zoom in.
“Wow, we shall survive the winter surely with this miracle food!”
The commercial ended, and Glee resumed playing on TV."

Submission 2
“Akidoki?” an elf’s voice resounded suspiciously, like it begged the girls to consider wisely.

Nara with a small gulp tattered, “Yes.”

An unrest wavered inside of Stannie’s belly. Even one of her ears arched upwards- she felt something. It was not right.

A question followed with a rather stern look on the elf’s face, “What was the last time you’ve taken out snow of your bank?”

The answer is a grimace.

“Snow? What snow?”

Stannie jumped out of the bag, landing on her paws. Her tail wraps around Nara’s leg, snuggling up to her protectively. While her best friend’s fingers searched for a gun inside of her jacket and she pulls it out, a victorious smile prevailing on the corners of her lips. Time for a plan B. “This is going to get a little bit spicy!”
“You don’t say!” an elf rises from her seat. A loud, thunderous laugh echoes off of the walls. Prosthetic ears sticking out. Everyone turned to look towards their direction to see what’s happening. “I heard everything, I knew your every single move, but you won’t ever be able to get the talisman of Minus! NEVER!”
Nara protested in tears, “No!”
“It was me… Akidoki!”
The truth cornered both Stannie and Nara. It never occurred to them Akidoki was listening in on them, that she would know about their plans- and even worse is that she came prepared.
Stannie cried, “Where is Polaris when we need her the most…”

"""I shouldn't have eaten that extra serving of spicy noodles."" said Meg as she was walking towards the bathroom. During the evening she met with some friends for dinner and a movie, but since she came back home her belly was in unrest. She tried to take some medicine and just sleep it of, but she couldn't fall asleep at all, turning and squirming in her bed.
As she was sitting on the toilet regretting her choice once again, someone pressed her doorbell.
""No, not now"" she mumbled. Meg wanted to ignore, until she realized it was 2AM right now. In a panic she tried to quickly pull her pants up and rushed down while trying to be as quiet as she could be. She carefully got close to the door and looked through the hole to see who was outside.
She couldn't see anyone tho. Scared she questioned if she should call the police until she heard the bell again, but while she looked out again she saw no one, but now there was a box in front of her door with bold letter spelling ""Import"" on it.
Hesitating she quickly opened the door, grabbed the box and locked the door behind her. She took the box to the counter and carefully opened it.
As if some mechanism unlocked, the box opened relesing ungodly amount of snow into her kitchen and living room. The snow was falling outside. It's the day after Christmas night.
Santa is tired, hungry, and not feeling well. Mrs. Claus then decides to make a nice and delicious meal for his unrest husband.
She decided to make a nice soup so Santa could fully recover from what it seems to be a cold.
The most important thing was not to get his belly full of delicious food, but to make him feel better.
When she was done and decided to take a bit to see if it was good enough, she noticed it was too spicy. Almost felt like summer outside. She then decided to put that attempt away and start a new one.
What she didn't expect was that Rudolph would go and prove it when she was distracted. It was so hot that Rudolph's nose instantly got red. And from that day on, he was known as Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer."

Submission 5

"Sprawled out on her belly on the living room floor staring out the window, Rin let out a sigh for what must have been the 10th time within the past thirty minutes. It was a snow day, and yet, here she was, holed up inside with nothing to do. She was stuck in a state of unrest and didn't know how to shake it off.

Her mom had insisted she go ""play outside,"" but really, there was nothing to do out there. At least, not by herself. After all, snowball fights required at least two participants, and making snowmen and snow angels was pointless without anyone to show them off to. Unfortunately for Rin, her best friend was too busy to spare any time for her today. Her family had received a huge import of spicy noodles from Japan and were going to be trying them out.

Pouting, she pushed herself up into a sitting position and crossed her arms with a huff. Really, were noodles more important than her? Some best friend Gumi was. Just as that thought crossed her mind, there was a loud rap on the window she had been previously gazing out. Startled, her head swiveled in the direction of the noise, and staring right back at her was none other than Gumi herself.

Face breaking out into a large grin, Rin jumped up from her spot on the floor and ran to the front door. Looks like her day wouldn't be so boring after all."

And the scores are as follows. Both Bchip's and Chococo's Submissions are automatically scored 0 as they did not have the word import in their story.

My Favourite story was submission 3. It was very out of the box and still pretty coherant. I had fun reading it!
