i wanna know the right solution to that lol my approach was way too random to be correct

What i was taught for my CSAT was
Hongbin and Hyuk ratio = 2:3
Hyuk Ken ratio = 5:8
So you have to make it to match so that Hyuk ends up with the same number
So i multiplied Hongbin and Hyuk's ratio by 5
And multiplied Hyuk Ken ratio by 3 and ended with
10:15:24

With that i divided the amount of lines by 49, i multipled the result by 24
Then divided the result by the total amount of lines and multiplied that by 100 to get the %

Idk if tha made sense ​

you dont need algebra to solve it, just simple ratios

when theres 3 people
like x:y and y:z
inn order to write it like x:y:z you need to make sure that the y in both ratios is the same

so she multiplied 2:3 with 5 making it 10:15(x:y)
and 5:8 with 3 making it 15:24 (y:z)
so then she got 10:15:24
the total of these ratios is 49 right?(10+15+24)
ken had 24/49 proportion, now multiply that by 735 and you get his actual number of line
then you can do percentage

=> total of lines is 735 => x+ y + z = 735
=> ratio of hongbin to hyuk is 2:3 => x/y = 2/3 => x = 2/3 y
=> ratio of hyuk to leo is 5:8 => y/z = 5/8 => z = 8/5 y

=> 2/3 y + y + 8/5 y = 735
=>10/15 y + 15/15 y + 24/15 y = 735
=>49 y = 11025
=> y = 225 => Hyuk's lines = 225

=> z = 8/5 y => z = 8/5 * 225 => z = 360 lines
=> 360/735 = 48.98%

well we learn something new every day

all i was good for was counting leo's lines bc i got to listen to six feet under
