BY MIATHEIKONIC

#1- SOLAR - SPIT IT OUT
Ever since we first saw Mamamoo's Solar teasers for her first solo album, "Spit It Out", we knew she would leave us speechless! Just like the teasers suggested, the album's lead track of the same name shows Solar's different sides as an artist —she wanted to show her identity and how passionate she is. The music video highlights the message in the most aesthetic way, while the song itself, with its latin guitar riffs and synth sounds, is simply amazing. Her dream came true: we will wait for her next releases with huge anticipation, but for now, we will keep singing along to this one for a long time!

#2- GOT7 - NOT BY THE MOON
We were told not to swear by the moon, as it is always changing and only passing by for a few hours. Instead, we'll choose to swear by GOT7 and their never-ending list of smashing hits. "Not By The Moon", the fronting track of their 11th mini album, "Dye", is another proof of their exceptional musical artistry. The sophisticated yet sexy sound of the song is amazingly alluring, and, in true JYPE's fashion, the powerful choreography adds a lot to the concept. Last but not least, the lyrics, which tell the story of a beautiful and promising romance, will make you fall in love with the group all over again!

#3- BVNDIT - CHILDREN
When we fall for an artist, and decide to join their fandom, many of us feel the need to discover more about their personality—and that personality, along with their actions, are often greatly influenced by their childhood. To accompany us in this journey, BVNDIT gifted us with "Children", a pre-release single for their upcoming album. The lyrics and music video perfectly capture their emotions and the struggles one may face while growing up. So before the album comes out (it is yet to be announced), enjoy this touching song together with us and let's dive into the BVNDIT-stan life!

#4- H&D - SOUL & GOOD NIGHT
Unfortunately, Produce X 101's final group, X1, only lasted for a few months before disbanding. However, we will forever be grateful for all the trainees we got to know along the way—two of the most prominent ones being Lee Hangyul and Nam Dohyon. Luckily for us, they are now performing as a duo, called H&D. For their heavily anticipated debut, they released a mini album, "Soulmate", which includes two fronting tracks, "Soul" and "Good Night". Each song has its own concept: "Soul" is a powerful track that that shows H&D getting better after the bad car crash, while "Good Night", which talks about friends at a sleepover, is filled with refreshing charms. No matter which concept you prefer, we can all agree these boys have a bright future ahead of them!

#5- HA:TFELT - SATELLITE FT. ASH ISLAND & SWEET SENSATION FT. SOLE
Ever since Wonder Girls' Yeeun left JYPE back in 2017 to join Amoeba Culture, we have been patiently waiting for her first full album to be released. Three years later, we can finally take a listen to "1719"! Now that she's standing in front of us as HA:TFELT, we can finally understand the struggles she went through after her departure from her former company. For this album, she wanted to reflect on the past and express her hopes for the future in two of her lead tracks, "Satellite" and "Sweet Sensation", and both songs have a deep and personal meaning to her. In "Satellite" she explains how she has yet to become a fully-formed star, but she still does her best and tries to shine—while in "Sweet Sensation", she wishes for a better future, far from all hardships. She does not need to worry though: in our opinion, she is and always will be a shining star!

#6- IMFACT - LIE
IMFACT was on hiatus for more than a year. Because of this, we couldn't help but wonder how they would start off again, but also what music direction they would take to surprise their fans. The anticipation is almost over: this week, the group returned with "Lie", a pre-release single from their upcoming first mini album, "L.L". They certainly knew how to build up the clout over the release—choruses that start with a beat drop often make listeners unsatisfied, but IMFACT managed to pull it off and "Lie"'s addictive chorus left us wanting more. We guarantee the song is worth a listen!

#7- APRIL - LALALILALA
Spring wouldn't be spring without refreshing Kpop songs! Luckily for us, the members of April, who are famous for mastering cute and feminine concepts like no other, came back this week with their seventh mini album, "Da Capo"! Its main track, "Lalalilala", slightly hints at a girl crush concept but still showcases candy-like sweet charms. The lyrics and music video show the members experimenting and looking at the stars while trying to find a way to cast a spell for their loved one to return their affection—and by the time the song hit the chorus, it became clear that it is a success, as we found ourselves to be completely in love with them. So lalalilala, it's time for you to fall for April!

#8- ZICO X KANG DANIEL - REFRESH
Who are two of the most famous Korean male solo artists in 2020? The answer is probably easy: Zico and Kang Daniel. So no wonder we got excited when Pepsi announced that these two would release a song for the brand! "Refresh" is the symbol of that union, and more than promoting a fizzy drink, the music video shows Korean culture in a fun and unique way. It is always interesting to witness a collaboration between artists with such different styles, and we are sure you will be satisfied with the final result!

#9- THE COINLOCKERS - AM I HAPPY?
Many of us are familiar with the name of Akimoto Yasushi, the producer of AKB48 groups. Back in 2018, he teamed up with Warner Music Japan to produce a new group, The Coinlockers. By the end of last year, the group has had a revamp—changing concept and the amount of members—and now we are finally able to see the result with their comeback single, "Am I Happy?". The group kept their signature rock sound and the members still play instruments, but the refreshing, cheerful undertone of this release got us even more addicted than ever, as it was just made for Spring!

#10- PAUL KIM - BUT I'LL MISS YOU
In tough times, such as the ones we are facing these days, most of us have to stay away from the people we love. We miss them, and we finally get to realise how much they mean to us. Paul Kim's "But I'll Miss You" revolves around this exact feeling—in this song, the artist expresses his love for a person he greatly misses, as he understood too late that they meant the world to him. It is a painful theme most of us can relate to, and his emotional voice make us feel every bit of his sadness, like true ballad should!
