Holland has been getting backlash overseas since he openly said he supported Hyuna (I believe he tried to post an excuse/apology but then deleted it which pissed people off more).
I honestly don’t pay too much attention to Holland anymore, he seems like an attention grabber to me at times.
People have been debating Keeho’s sexuality for years. I wouldn’t be surprised if he intentionally tweeted about Keeho just to stir the pot and get people to see his new song he just dropped.
I think if Holland was a western celebrity nobody would care what he says, it's only because he's attached to overprotective kpop idol fan circles that he gets backlash at all. Kind of reminds me of when CupcakKe said she wanted to fuck Jungkook but the tame version. Honestly he probably wouldn't have said it if he didn't know Keeho and know he'd be okay with it.
I get why he called himself an idol originally as it leant itself well to media attention but tbh he's not really actually an idol and shouldn't be held to the standard of one. He's a messy gay who spends too much time online and that's okay. His new song is good (produced by Sumin hello?) and he's serving that's all I care about. He could post detailed sexual fantasies and I wouldn't care. Keeho posted thirst tweets about Jimin predebut iirc so I'm sure he gets it lol

Sakuya really? He's just such a kid to me that I don't see it lol but Yushi yeah for sure. Riku pings the most for me though and Ryo's Doyoung fanboy backstory is obviously suspicious but he was also so young that it could easily be nothing.

There are two things happening right now 1. He's getting a ton of hate and 2. People are voting for him only because he is gay, both of which are bad.
Also talking about Boys Planet what do people think of Sung Hanbin? I think they are trying to prop him up to be this perfect boyfriend figure that Cha Eunwoo is right now.

Xinche right? Somebody was telling me about this and I got the impression he was already a decently succesful influencer before the show and that all the content with his boyfriend was pretty public? The show PDs presumably already vetted him and knew what they were getting into it? Either way I don't really think it's bad to vote for him just because he's queer, but I'm not a proponent of "only vote for talent" anyway. The general hallyu fan sphere seems pretty hungry for an out celebrity who is more mainstream or stereotypically kpop anyway.
Honestly I've never gotten any vibe from Jaehee so he's just sort of het by default to me I guess. Part of that might be that he's way less camera trained/doesn't have the same amount of idol personality training/isn't as talkative as the other members. It seems like he kind of just stumbled into being an idol which doesn't have anything to do with the topic of this thread but it does make it harder to get a read on. Since his "persona" is essentially just "regular guy" he kind of reads straight by virtue of heteronormativity I guess.

I feel like I recall him once saying that his benefit to the company is that he doesn't date girls?? Oneus are definitely one of the queerest seeming groups out there and RBW as a whole are like that, to the point I imagine it can't be coincidence? I think Leedo is the only one who hasn't pinged me (and Ravn but obviously he's been out of the picture) but I admittedly haven't really been keeping up with them much lately. I was always a Onewe stan who just sort of stanned Oneus by the connection tbh
Has everyone seen Bibi's MV for Derre? She's obviously no stranger to pushing limits but I still think it's nice to see a pretty blatantly sapphic mv from a very big and mainstream artist in Korea right now.

LurkerI saw people talking about LSH and Hoshi but in the most recent video I watched , hoshi was talking about plans on getting married someday with a wife. I was also surprised to see mingyu mentioned as anything other than straight. Idk I've always gotten the impression he was straight, getting dating rumors with somi and the way he kept staring at that one interviewer. Soobin also seems pretty straight to me, fans have been discussing how he's into girls with blonde hair.
It's not that uncommon for bi guys in more conservative countries to have an end goal of marrying a woman and having a family even if they might like/date guys in the moment. Plenty of other often theorized guys have brought up the wife thing before (Doyoung said something similar recently iirc) and combined with the whole "low birth rate" issue in Korea I don't think it's a meaningless statement but there's definitely some nuance to it.
