late and i don't follow them but whenever oneus is mentioned in these types of discussions i remember keonhee's connection to soobin and when everyone thought they were dating. has there been any updates on them since the initial lovestagramming and keonhee being shy at a fancall about soobin or nah? i know zhang hao's now friends with keonhee (they did a tiktok together and i swear there was some other proof) and he's definitely friends with soobin so i guess he's in their lil friend group now

soobin and keonhee both went to a zb1 concert to support zhanghao so i think they're all part of the same friend group, also this happened back in april when oneus and txt were both at music bank in antwerp




also they were spotted shopping together back in may

It's good. I definitely teared up at his part in Tomorrow. And he was so much fun in Bad and Crazy. I didn't finish Joseon Attorney, but he was good there too.

BTS's JHope is going to be on that I live alone show that Key is on and the entirety of twitter is blowing up because they are expecting JHope and Key to have a gay diva off.

Unless I am missing a few chapters since when was there even any gay rumors surrounding Jhope??? He isn't even the most lgbt-pinging member of BTS

I saw people talking about LSH and Hoshi but in the most recent video I watched , hoshi was talking about plans on getting married someday with a wife. I was also surprised to see mingyu mentioned as anything other than straight. Idk I've always gotten the impression he was straight, getting dating rumors with somi and the way he kept staring at that one interviewer

since Hoshi is mostly talked about as bi, this still kind of feels in line with the general sentiment. i remember him also mentioning wanting a bunch of kids at some point. i also agree with the point about bi guys in conservative countries and all that.

re: Mingyu, just wanted to mention that the Somi rumour was based on like, one alleged instance of lovestagram and them being at an event at the same time (with two other svt members present). it also came around the time of the shitshow surrounding Josh, so it felt extra forced, really. other than that, he doesn't ping me as hard now, but seeing him in the early years post-debut kinda opened my eyes. i really really don't think he's straight... not even because of the ship/fanservicey content, just. the vibe. my gaydar is usually decent so i will trust myself on this one lmao

also, to step into delulu territory for a bit, a crazy rich grown man pushing 30 moving out of the dorm only to (still) share an apartment with his bandmate? hm. i'm not a hardcore truther, but my eyebrow went up a little after that piece of news dropped earlier this year. it's not really a unique situation in svt but those who still share (JH/SK, DK/VN) seem to simply be comfy in the good old dorm.

I would've never thought that either, but i recently went on to reread the archived thread from circa 2016 and oh boy. he used to be mentioned very frequently apparently, before the two big ships(TM) took over all the BTS discussions there. also, vhope were all the rage at some point lol

but i wasn't really there to witness all that at the time, so frankly i still don't get it.

In case any of you aren't aware Cha Woongki is on another survival show (Universe League) and frankly I'm not sure I've ever seen such a kind and genuine full-on protagonist edit on someone in a survival show ever. Pretty sure he's gotten more screen time than the actual big name idols on the show and his talking heads are at least double the length of everyone else's. The first episode felt like the season finale of the dude's life and it is very obvious that the show runners know all the Woongki lore. Zhang Shuaibo is even back and fanboying over him every episode. The only shame is that he is not in the team lead by Ten lmao but frankly I think even having the two of them in the same room for an extended period of time is definitely a certain kind of avengers

Hoshi kinda wears his heart on his sleeve so I won't be surprised if he's really genuine about his desire to start a family instead of just saying this to portray a fanservice image of a family man or something lol. I hope he'll be able to someday.

About Mingyu, there was a korean anti who tried really hard to create a dating rumour for him but then they also made up a rumour that he's bi. The person is talking out of their ass but I still find it interesting that they're pushing a "negative" rumour on his sexuality as well when like, him dating a woman would've been enough to send svt fandom into a meltdown. And I think it's partly because while the international side of kpop fans seem to insist that he's the straightest idol alive, it's less so on korean side...? When he appeared on a variety show with Kibum there were a lot of hit korean tweets joking that they must have slept together and congratulating Kibum for snagging a younger man . You'd find out of pocket korean comments on him sometimes like saying "oh that's a gay haircut" when he cut his hair short or questioning "isn't he a bottom?" when the anti spread his dating rumour, so yeah. I think Mingyu is just an example of idols being perceived differently between international and korean audience.

I don't think there's anything going on between him and Wonwoo mostly because I think Wonwoo is straight lmao but also because I believe it's extreeeeemely rare for idols to date within their own group, queer or straight. But like you said it's still a bit eyebrow-raising when they shared they've moved out twice together, especially because I would've thought an introvert like Wonwoo would appreciate living alone better after working with his team members almost everyday so who knows.
